From washing already clean pots and pans in a closed soup kitchen, to pointing at a chart with rolled up sleeves, pretending, once again, that he’s a “policy wonk,” Paul Ryan knows how to put on a show for the dupes. Truth is, he cares as much about policy as he cares about the clients of that soup kitchen. He’s a sociopath who has made his life’s mission denying the same benefits to others that helped him get his start in life, in typical Republican fashion.
Yes, the same lying sociopath who stood in front of the nation and gave the most lie-riddled convention speech in American history, began the climb up the ladder he’s incessantly trying to pull up behind him, courtesy of the Social Security survivor benefits that helped him go to college. In a 2011 piece from Raw Story, Kase Wickman wrote “From the age of 16, when his 55-year-old father died of a heart attack, until he was 18, Ryan received Social Security payments, which, according to a lengthy profile in WI Magazine, he put away for college. The eventual budget czar attended Miami University in Ohio to earn a B.A. in economics and political science, and landed a congressional internship as a junior.
Ryan’s congressional ascent, all the way to the top spot on the Budget Committee, began with his Social Security-funded college education.”
Now, he’s at it again, trying to destroy the very programs Americans fought for, depend on and overwhelming want to protect and expand. According to statements he made at something called an “ideas summit,” hosted by the conservative publication. “National Review.” While I do have to wonder why conservatives need an “ideas summit,” considering they have only one – make the rich richer and screw everyone else, this is a dream, apparently, Paul Ryan’s had since he was just a young, budding sociopath.
Rich Lowry: You have been very clear for years—and we’ve seen compelling PowerPoint presentations—about how the entitlements and entitlements growing out of control is driving the country into a ditch on the debt. And we have a president of the United States who basically seems pledged not to touch entitlements. Where does that leave us?
Lyin’ Ryan: So, the health care entitlements are the big, big, big drivers of our debt. There are three. Obamacare, Medicaid, and Medicare. Two out of three are going through Congress right now. So, Medicaid—sending it back to the states, capping its growth rate. We’ve been dreaming of this since you and I were drinking out of a keg.
Rich Lowry: I was thinking about something else, he was thinking about reforming Medicaid.
Lyin’ Ryan: I was, I was! I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. We are on the cusp of doing something we’ve long believed in.

Imagine that! Spending time with your college buddies, drinking beer, and dreaming of making old people eat cat food.
In other words, while “We, The People”… meaning… you and me… and the other normal Americans who understand the concept of civilization, “E Pluribus Unum,” and “leaving no one behind,” worked to provide young Paul Ryan with Social Security survivor benefits that catapulted his career, he was “dreaming” of returning the favor by making everyone’s life worse – and I do mean everyone. Whether you’re someone who currently relies on social insurance programs Ryan is working to destroy, everyone benefits by living in a society where vulnerable people aren’t sick and starving in the streets. Leaving no one behind is a patriotic concept that is way over the typical Republican head.
At the time Wickman’s original article was published in 2011, Paul Ryan was still at it, trying to hand Social Security and Medicare over to Wall Street. His “Roadmap” for Social Security” destruction had zero chance of becoming law, given we had a normal person in the White House. Now we have a thin-skinned, emotionally unfit, reality-TV star puppet of a foreign dictator who is completely unfit to be President. It doesn’t matter that this international disgrace was put in office despite not garnering the majority of votes, and on the promise of leaving Medicare and Social Security alone, Ryan wants to inflict his sociopathy on the nation, and he’ll enable Trump’s treasonous thin skin to do it.
Don’t worry, though. Even if he’s successful using his position in government to kill and starve the people he pretends to represent, Paul Ryan has great health care, benefits and retirement security thanks to working in the government he rots from the inside.
In 2011, Duncan Black wrote at the blog Eschaton,

Capitalism, just as Rand envisioned.”
No matter. Hypocrisy is the wind between conservative’s wings. I’m not sure if Ryan bored his companions around the keg with passages Ayn Rand’s shitty novels, but he must have been a tediously boring douchebag of a drunk.
The arrogance and certainty of youth can be forgiven, as most young idiots grow up and leave the sophomoric opinions based on shitty novels behind. Paul Ryan built an entire career on them. It takes a special kind of evil to wake up in the morning and work to snatch food and medicine from the vulnerable and elderly. Truly, some monsters are born. We will know this country is back on track and truly “great again” when Paul Ryan’s career is ended in the type of ruin comparable to what he’s worked to inflict on the American people for his entire life.
