For years, North Korea has ranked at or near the bottom of nearly every measure of human rights and civil liberties. This is because literally from the moment North Korean babies come out of the womb, they are taught to obey the nation’s supreme leader, Kim Jong-un. It’s a tradition that began with his grandfather and North Korea’s founder, Kim Il-sung, and continued with his father, Kim Jong-il. The goal is simple, according to the United Nations–to snuff out all independent thought and replace it with absolute obedience to Kim, or “Dear Respected” as he is called.
One would think that such a mentality isn’t something to be applauded. But apparently that’s what one of the nation’s most shameless conspiracy peddlers would have us think. She actually thinks that Dear Respected is a good guy–and that Donald Trump actually took off chains placed on him by the deep state.
Liz Crokin has spent most of the last few years looking for pedophiles under every rock. Inevitably, this has resulted in her attacking Democrats and Trump critics as sick and evil people who are out to put innocent children in harm’s way. As she sees it, if you oppose Trump, there’s a good chance you’re covering for pedophiles–or you may be one yourself.
Crokin was one of the loudest promoters of “Pizzagate,” a bizarre conspiracy theory that claimed nearly everyone who was everyone in the Democratic Party and Hollywood was involved in a massive sex trafficking ring based at a Washington pizzeria. She has since become an equally shameless promoter of its bastard child, “QAnon.” Supposedly, a shadowy adviser to Trump known as “Q” is using 4chan to dribble out Trump’s master plan to open the trap door under these perverts.
Never mind that all of this nonsense has been debunked several times over. Never mind that dozens of innocent people have been harassed and trolled by the self-appointed protectors of children who consider Crokin a heroine. And never mind that there are at least three occasions where these self-appointed protectors of children have turned violent–though thankfully, no blood was shed.
One has to wonder–how far removed from reality do you have to be in order to believe this claptrap? Well, Crokin may have given us an answer during a recent message to her YouTube followers. She claimed that Kim had recently been freed from the clutches of the deep state–thanks to Trump and Q. People for the American Way’s Right Wing Watch got a clip.
Crokin claimed that North Korea had been under the thumb of “the cabal, the deep state” for a long time. But that changed thanks to Trump, Q, and the “white hats” surrounding them. Supposedly, they “freed” Kim from this evil cabal’s clutches. Crokin then argued that Kim wasn’t the “monster” that he’s made out to be by virtually every outlet outside of North Korea. After all, she said, everyone would like you to think Trump is a monster when he’s actually “saving humanity from the pedophiles.”
Anyone who has even a cursory knowledge about North Korea can be pardoned for falling down and laughing. For instance, according to North Korean defector Yeonmi Park, Kim, like his father and grandfather before him, frequently uses photo ops with prominent visitors to the North to remind his subjects that he isn’t going away any time soon. Park also claims that Kim deliberately keeps his people in poverty even though there is more than enough food to feed them. Hmmm–sounds like the act of a monster, from where this writer is sitting.
Moreover, Kim exercises absolute control over the government and the country; his word is literally the law. He learned that from his father and grandfather as well–and not some supposed deep state cabal.
Simply put, you’d have to be completely removed from reality to believe Kim is anything other than a monster. In the same way, you have to be completely removed from reality to treat anything from Crokin and the QAnon crowd as gospel.
