After falsely claiming the military intelligence-gathering operation he order in Yemen was a holdover from the Obama Administration, and then saying “the generals” “lost Ryan,” Trump fell back to his old stand-by and lied right to America’s face, as well as the face of a grieving widow.
Now, ten high-ranking intelligence officials are openly disputing the so-called President’s claim that the Yemen raid Trump ordered five days after inauguration over dinner with his son-in-law Jared Kushner and his Machiavellian advisor Steve Bannon, was a “success,” openly stating that “intelligence collected during the deadly raid has so far proven neither vital nor actionable” – in direct contradiction to Trump’s remarks to the nation.
The New York Times reported that Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens “and as many as 29 civilians were killed Jan. 28 in the anti-terrorism mission in Yemen. What was intended as a lightning raid to grab cellphones, laptops and other information about terrorists turned into a nearly hour-long firefight in which ‘everything went wrong,’ according to U.S. military officials.”
During his speech to a joint session of Congress, Trump pointed to the widow of the Navy SEAL said, “I just spoke to our great Gen. Mattis just now, who reconfirmed that, and I quote, ‘Ryan was a part of a highly successful raid that generated large amounts of vital intelligence that will lead to many more victories in the future against our enemies.’ Ryan’s legacy is etched into eternity. Thank you.”
As the chamber erupted in sustained applause, Owens’ widow, Carryn, openly wept. The Reality-TV narcissist Trump “consoled” her by remarking how proud her deceased husband must be “looking down from Heaven,” garnering such impressive accolades. I venture to guess he’d much rather be alive, and would be, if not for Trump’s narcissism.
On a special edition of “Hardball with Chris Matthews,” filmmaker Michael Moore unpacked Trump’s obsession with the value of “applause.”
“Ryan Owens, his death came as a result of a dinner Trump had with his son-in-law. The widow, that’s why she’s there as sort of an F-you to the people who are criticizing him for this. And this poor women, this widow who has lost her husband is in desperate grief right now.”
“And to use that to put another notch on his belt and what is he thinking about?” Moore continued. “‘My ratings, my record applause. I’m going to get an Emmy for this, most applause for a dead soldier on my watch.’ That is the sickness of this man.”

Owens’ father did not appear in the latest episode of “It’s Trump’s World, We All Just Live In It,” and refused a cameo in an earlier installment.
As he waited to receive his son’s remains, Owens’ father, Bill, declined to meet with the so-called President, who was on his way to Dover Air Force Base.
The Miami Herald reported that Bill Owens, a military veteran himself, was troubled by the so-called President’s treatment of a Gold Star Family and, now that he was a Gold Star parent himself, “he had deep reservations about the way the decision was made to launch what would be his son’s last mission.”
“Why at this time did there have to be this stupid mission when it wasn’t even barely a week into his administration? Why? For two years prior, there were no boots on the ground in Yemen — everything was missiles and drones — because there was not a target worth one American life. Now, all of a sudden we had to make this grand display?’’
The criminal reality is that King Baby Trump’s desire to look like a big, strong, war hero and order himself up a big strong war story to impress the “Average Joe” dupes who cheer him sent Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens needlessly to his grave. Bluntly, Owens died for Trump’s vanity.
